I have over 20 years professional experience in theatre production and lighting systems.
I am based in London, but my work has taken me around the world. I have specialised in production lighting on West End plays and large scale musicals, but have also toured shows nationally and internationally. I also have extensive experience of industrial shows, events and exhibitions.
I am currently lighting supervisor on the UK tour of Dirty Dancing, and The International Tour of Mamma Mia!, a role that has taken me throughout Europe, and further afield to such diverse places as South Africa, China, Taiwan and New Zealand.
I have studied electronics, microprocessor programming and wireless data systems and have a particular interest in lighting control networks and protocols, including DMX, RDM, ArtNET, sACN and ACN.
I have a flare for designing bespoke solutions to lighting problems. Several of these ideas have gone on to become commercial lighting products.
I am a professional member of the Association of Lighting Designers.
